Accessibility Statement

Last updated · August 27, 2026

Suncliffe Spirits is committed to making this website usable and welcoming for as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort and continue to improve the experience over time.

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to learn about our spirits, find a stockist, and get in touch — regardless of how they access the web. We work to meet recognized accessibility best practices and to fix issues as we find them or as they are reported to us.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Measures we take

We have taken the following steps to make the site more accessible:

  • Keyboard navigation. Interactive elements can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and a visible focus indicator highlights the element you are on as you tab through the page.
  • Semantic structure. Pages use meaningful headings and landmark structure so screen-reader users can understand and navigate the content.
  • Text alternatives. Meaningful images include descriptive text alternatives, and purely decorative images are marked so assistive technologies can skip them.
  • Accessible controls. Buttons, menus, and other controls are labelled and expose their state (for example, whether a menu is expanded) to assistive technologies.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas we are aware of and working to improve include:

  • Some third-party embedded content — such as the store-locator map, the Instagram feed, and the online bottle-purchase checkout — is provided by external partners and may not fully meet our accessibility target.
  • Some text and interface elements do not yet meet the 4.5:1 color-contrast ratio that WCAG 2.1 Level AA asks for. We have audited the site for this, we know which elements are affected, and correcting them is part of our ongoing design work.
  • We continue to review interactive components across the site and address issues as we find them.

If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please let us know using the contact details below — your feedback helps us prioritize fixes.

Third-party content

Some features on this site rely on third-party services — for example the store-locator map, the embedded social feed, and the online bottle-purchase checkout. We do not control the accessibility of third-party content, but we choose our partners with care and will help where we can.

Reporting an accessibility problem

We welcome your feedback. If you experience any difficulty using this site, or have suggestions for how we can improve, please contact us:

Please include a description of the problem, the page or feature involved, and the browser or assistive technology you were using, so we can investigate. We aim to respond within a few business days.

Ongoing effort and updates

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review the site as it changes and update this statement as our practices evolve. This statement was last reviewed on August 27, 2026.
